The 2024 New York’s 3rd Congressional District special election was held on February 13, 2024, to fill the House seat vacated after Republican George Santos was expelled from Congress, and Democrat Tom Suozzi defeated Republican Mazi Melesa Pilip with 53.92% of the vote to flip the district back to Democratic control.
